Floating Candles

This modular chandelier, composed of identical, translucent porcelain cones, was originally developed as a way to test glazes in the ceramic studio. The cones will become a shared tool for collective glaze testing, evolving into unique lighting objects shaped by collaboration. Arranged in a ring-shaped suspension, the chandelier gains its volume through repetition, with colored tips accentuating the lightness of the material. Floating like candles, it evokes a sacred, contemplative atmosphere — a silent choreography of light, color, and form.
